mRowAdd(
Multiplies one row of a matrix by a value and adds the result to another row, the key step of Gaussian elimination.
Syntax
mRowAdd(value, matrix, row1, row2)
- Group
- Matrix
- Arguments
- Takes the factor, the matrix, the row to multiply and the row that receives the sum.
- Availability
- Included
Example
| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| mRowAdd(-2,[[1,2][3,4]],1,2) | [[1,2][1,0]] |
Typing mRowAdd(-2,[[1,2][3,4]],1,2) on the home screen and pressing ENTER returns [[1,2][1,0]].
